NOMADS KITCHEN: COOKING CLASSES
Algerian-nomadic cooking is built around intimate gatherings in the kitchen. To eat is to share love. These cooking classes will not just teach you the art and skills of North African cuisine, but will remind you of what it means to cook from your heart. It will remind you that cooking is a ritual of creativity, connection, and playfulness. A time for you to forget the rest of the world, and allow yourself to be taken on an immersive journey into your senses.
YOUR GUIDE INTO THE FLAVOURS OF NORTH AFRICA
Laurent Med Khellout is a chef and owner of restaurant and catering company Raïnaraï. There he gives life to an Algerian-nomadic kitchen with natural products that nourish the body and soul. His inspiration is drawn from his life as a nomadic chef, traveling to the most remote corners of the world, and immersing himself in the richness of the culinary cultures he met along the way.
EACH CLASS WILL BE AN INDIVIDUALISED JOURNEY
Based on where you are in your cooking journey, Laurent will assign you dishes with consideration of your level of experience, and what you are wanting to learn. Each time you join one of the Nomads Kitchen classes, you will develop new skills, and prepare new dishes that will challenge and inspire you. The classes will be adapted based on your progress at Nomads Kitchen, and are guaranteed to foster your growth and development as a nomadic chef.
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN DURING THE COOKING CLASS?
- The fundamentals of North African cooking
- Exploring and combining a variety of flavour profiles
- Understanding the richness and potency of North African herbs and spices, and how to utilise them effectively in the dishes you create
- Cultivating technical cooking skills and uncover how to become an artist in the kitchen
- Preparing vegetables, fish, meat, and grains, in a variety of ways that will excite your palette

- A delicious meal shared with your fellow chefs

- Please note, drinks are NOT included. We offer a beautiful selection of wines and other drinks, and these will be available at an extra cost during your cooking class

Investment:
Single Class: 90,- per person
Package of Five Classes: 425,- per person (85,- per class)
Package of Ten Classes: 800,- per person (80,- per class)
Cancellation Policy:
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded. This experience requires a minimum number of guests. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
